At Modern Movement Clinic, we work together with active people in Jefferson and Denver Counties. We aim to help clients quickly navigate their way out of pain and injury to get back to their favorite activities/sport, exercise, and ultimately feeling more like themselves.
You may have found this website looking to work with a chiropractor or therapist in Golden or perhaps you were recommended to try out therapy or chiropractic care.
You’ve come to the right place because we aren’t like most clinics. We are often asked, “what do I call you because you do so much?

- Tried to get this addressed at other chiropractor clinics to only get an X Ray that they claim are “bones being out of place”, that they can balance this out by adjusting you for 3 times a week for 3-4 weeks, 2 times a week for…you get the picture. Come to find out, you get the same treatment done every…single…time.
- Went to a PT clinic or other clinics where they may say things like “your glutes are turned off”, “you have a short leg”, and/or “your pelvis is rotated” and that is why your pain is present. They hand you a piece of paper that you feel they give everyone, only to discover that you only spend about 5 minutes with the main therapist you saw first while you work with about another 5-6 people or worse, are left alone to do your work and not getting any of our questions or concerns addressed.
- Thought the pain would go away if you just rested the area, only to find out that once you get back to activity, it is still there.
- Been told by friends, family, or even worse, your Orthopedist that the pain is because you’re old and that you should just stop doing the activity you love.
- Consulted with your Doctor or Orthopedist for them to say that the only option is surgery.
- Perhaps you’ve had surgery, injections, or ate painkillers like candy to only have minimal effect.
- Tried every exercise you’ve seen on Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube that have catchy taglines like “Fix Your (Insert Area) By Doing These” or “(Insert Area) Pain Gone Instantly By This Trick”. You end up having little to no results or may have even aggravated the area more.

- Runners & Endurance Athletes - We’ve built our practice around working with runners and endurance athletes. Our testing and programming is specifically designed around the mechanics of running. The last thing you will likely hear from our mouths will be that you should completely stop running or training. We know movement is medicine.
- Chronic & Persistent Pain Individuals - We know that pain is a multi-layered concept and because of that, we know that movement testing doesn’t tell us everything. That’s why we have the time to sit and talk about your pain journey. We call this a patient-centered approach because we know that pain not only affects your physical activity but your mental and social health as well.
- Busy Women and Moms - We like nothing more to make people feel strong and confident for all the tasks they have during their day. Part of the experience at MMC is educating on how to progress exercise towards picking up weight so that once you’re back to doing your own workouts, you feel more self-assured that you can handle anything thrown your way.
- The “Let’s Just Send It” Men and Dads - We know you and we see you. Age is nothing but a number and you’ve got a marathon you’re training for, hit up the climbing gym three days a week and you’ll never miss a bro session with your mountain bike on Saturday mornings before you do your long run for that marathon you forgot you’re training for. Let us help you bring it all together to make your time more efficient and able to do all the things.
- Sport Athletes - Injuries in sport are part of the process sometimes but that doesn’t mean we have to stay in that cycle and miss a lot of playing time. We work with athletes of all backgrounds because we are movement nerds and know how to test according to your sport and figure out what’s been missing from your training.
- Crossfit & Active Lifters - We think it’s pretty badass you like to go hard and lift heavy. Think of us as your “missing piece” to figure out where you can focus your warm ups and accessory work. We promise it is not clamshells and that you can show all your friends to impress them when you start hitting new PRs.
- Active Adults - Life is a sport in itself and we totally get down being active just in general. Whether that’s hiking, biking, or playing pickleball with your friends. We work well with tying up the loose ends of how to compliment your activities and give you tools and tips to keep doing them for a long time.
